Turn leftover rice into crispy pathiri

Rice is definitely the most commonly left over item in our kitchens. Instead of eating the leftover rice the next day, you can easily turn it in into delicious snacks. Here is an easy recipe of crispy pathiri made using the leftover rice.

Ingredients

1 cup rice
7 shallots
½ cup rice flour
2 tsp cumin
½ coconut
A pinch of turmeric powder
Salt as required

Preparation

Grind all the ingredients together without adding any water

Make small balls from this mixture

Heat oil and fry these rice balls until nice and golden

Serve hot with coconut or coriander chutney.
