Easy homemade apple jam

This homemade apple jam is sweet, delicious, and healthy as well. It is amazingly easy to prepare and can be stored in airtight containers. Apple jam, made using just a few ingredients, can be enjoyed by spreading on bread or chapathi. Try this simple recipe of homemade apple jam.


5 apples

1 ½ cups sugar (or as per taste)

1 tbsp lime juice

Hot water as required


Wash the apples and slice them into small pieces.

Into a pan add these apple slices along with the sugar. Mix well and turn on the heat.

Cook and caramelize the apples until they are nice and soft.

Now add the lime juice. Mix everything well together.

If the jam is too thick, loosen it by adding hot water.

Turn off the flame after the apples have cooked well and are mixed with other ingredients.

Transfer the jam into an airtight container after it has cooled down. It could be refrigerated for a longer period of time.
