1 kg chicken
2 tsp coconut oil
3 onions
2 tomatoes
3 green chillies
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
Pepper powder
Garam masala
½ cup water
Salt to taste
Cook the chicken in a pressure cooker by adding salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and water, up to 5 whistles.
After the chicken cools down, remove the bones and shred it into small bits.
Heat a pan and add coconut oil.
To this, add sliced onion, green chillies and few curry leaves and sauté well.
When the onions are golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala to it.
Add in chopped tomatoes.
Put the shredded chicken to the pan and mix well.
Pour the chicken stock to the mixture and cook till the water evaporates completely.
The yummy shredded chicken is done!
