Chicken in white gravy


It is worth trying the white gravy chicken which is quite different from the traditional one. Here is how you make it.


½ kg chicken 
½ cup curd
1 onion 
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 
Green chilli as per taste 
15 almonds 
10 cashews
Salt to taste 
5 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
1 cinnamon sticks
2 cloves 
2 cardamoms 
1 bay leaf
Coriander leaves 
Fresh cream to decorate


Soak almonds and cashews in water

Cook onion and garlic in water and blend it into a paste after cooling

Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste and salt and fry for 10 min in minimum oil.

To another pan heat oil and butter and sauté the spices

To it add the cooked onion garlic paste

Add curd and when it simmers add the chicken, green chillies and salt and cook by covering the lid

Blend the soaked almonds and cashews into a fine paste and add it into the pan till the mixture starts to boil.

Garnish it with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
