Ingredients
3 eggs
½ cup powdered jaggery
½ cup oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
¾ oats powder
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup sweet potato (boiled and mashed)
Preparation
Mix the eggs and powdered jaggery well
in a bowl
Add oil and vanilla essence
Mix well and keep it aside
Sieve the oats powder, baking powder
and cocoa powder together into a bowl
Add the previously prepared egg-jaggery
and oil mixture into it gradually
Mix well without forming any lumps
Into it add the mashed sweet potato and
fold well slowly
Pour this batter into a cake tray lined
with butter paper
Heat a big non stick vessel on medium
flame for 5 minutes with the lid on
Place a stand in this hot vessel
Place the cake tin over this stand
Close the lid and bake for 30 minutes
on medium flame
Cut the cake into desired shapes once
it cools down.
