Malabar chicken cake

This is a unique dish that is cooked in the homes in Malabar, especially as a centre piece for iftar parties. It can be prepared using any meat.

Ingredients

200 gm boneless chicken
2 onions (chopped)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (crushed)
2-3 green chillies
2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
2 bunches curry leaves
2 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garam masala
6 eggs
2 tbsp oil
Salt as required

Preparation

Cook the chicken by adding a tea spoon of pepper powder and salt as required
Shred the cooked chicken
Heat oil in a pan and add onions, ginger-garlic, green chillies, and curry leaves
Sauté well
Into it add the pepper powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and sauté until the raw smell is off
Add coriander leaves, salt and shredded chicken 
Mix well and keep it with the lid on without flame
Allow this mixture to cool down
Beat the eggs with salt and pepper
Add the already prepared chicken masala mixture and mix well
Pour this egg-chicken batter into a vessel greased with ghee
Place a stand inside a heated pan and keep the vessel on the stand
Cook for 20-25 minutes on simmer
Serve by cutting it into desired shapes.
