Try this twist to wheat dosa

With, wheat, paneer and cheese as the main ingredients, this special dosa looks and tastes like a 'mini' pizza. Kids who don’t like to eat wheat dosa will surely love this one.


1 cup paneer cubes

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp garam masala

½ tsp chili powder

1 tsp oil

1 onion (chopped)

1 capsicum (chopped)

Grated cheese

Tomato sauce

For the dosa batter

½ cup wheat powder

3 tbsp corn flour

1 tsp salt

Water as required


Into a bowl add the paneer cubes, salt, garam masala, chili powder and oil.

Mix well.

Transform the marinated paneer cubes into a separate bowl.

Now mix onions and capsicums in the same marinade.

Fry the paneer cubes in a heated pan. Add oil only if it is required.

Sauté the onions and capsicums.

To prepare the dosa batter, add wheat powder, corn flour and salt into a bowl.

Pour water as required and mix into a batter.

Heat a tawa and pour small spoons of dosa batter.

When one side of the dosa is cooked well flip it and then cook on a low flame.

Smear some tomato sauce on the flipped side of the dosa.

Add the grated cheese and then the sautéed onions and capsicums.

Add the paneer cubes and some more grated cheese.

Cook on low flame with the lid on until the cheese melts.

Turn off the flame when the cheese is completely melted.

Tastes best when served hot.
