Sweet and sour curd curry

Yogurt/curd which is calcium rich is a perfect accompaniment for rice. Here is an easy recipe of refreshing curd curry.

Ingredients

1 cup curd/yogurt

10 shallots (chopped)

1 spoon sugar

1 tsp cumin

1/4 cup pomegranate

4 sprigs of curry leaves

Oil and salt as required

Preparation

Add sugar and salt in curd

Mix well

Heat oil in a pan

Add the cumin seeds

When the cumin seeds pop, add curry leaves and shallots

Roast well

Pour the tempering over curd

Mix well

Garnish with fresh pomegranate.
