Tasty and crunchy egg kebab

Egg kebab

Egg is such a versatile ingredient that it goes well with any dish. This recipe is the best choice when guests drop in suddenly. Pair it with a home-made dip or salad of your choice and enjoy this quick snack.


3 eggs

2 big potatoes

1 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic, crushed

2 onions

3 green chillies

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp coriander powder

3/4 tsp garam masala

Curry leaves as needed

Coriander leaves

Bread crumbs




Heat oil in a wok

Add crushed ginger and garlic and sauté for one minute

Then add finely chopped onion,green chillies and curry leaves along with salt

Sauté till golden colour

Now, add all the powders and sauté till raw smell goes

To that add mashed potato and mix well

Allow it to cool

Cut boiled eggs into 4 equal parts

Then wet your palm and take one small portion of the masala and press inside the palm

Place egg piece on top of that, then cover it with masala and make the shape of a kebab

Dip this in egg and roll in the bread crumbs

Heat oil and deep fry the kebab

Easy tasty egg kebab is ready to serve
