If you thought making payasam was an elaborate job, then get ready to be contradicted! This payasam is the simplest and the easiest to make, and is just as delicious as well.

Ingredients

2 ltrs boiled milk
10 dsp sugar
4 dsp Basmati rice
1 tsp cardamom, powdered 
1 dsp cashewnuts minced fine

Preparation

Pour milk into a clean pressure cooker 
Add sugar
Add cleaned rice to the milk, mix well and cook 
After one whistle, lower flame and allow to simmer for 30 mins
When cooker cools, add cardamom and finely grated cashew
Serve hot
