Baked fish

A perfectly baked fish makes for a simple and quick dinner and this recipe is hands-down our favourite. Turn on your oven and bake the fish until tender. It's easy to make and delicious to taste.

Ingredients

500 gms any boneless fish (cut into cubes)

2 tbsp butter

1 onion (chopped)

8 cloves of garlic

1/2 inch ginger

1/4 cup celery (diced)

1/4 cup corn (diced)

1/4 cup bell pepper (diced)

1/2 tsp thyme

1 tbsp parsley (chopped)

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp flour

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup cheese (grated)

Preparation

Melt butter in a pan and saute onion, garlic & ginger

Add the fish cubes and stir gently

Add the remaining ingredients

In a separate pan, melt butter and then add flour

Stir well till the flour turns light brown

Slowly pour in the milk

Keep stirring & add grated cheese along with salt & pepper

Once the sauce becomes thick pour over the fish in a greased pan

Garnish with sliced tomato and bake for 15 minutes at 150°C.
