Tomatoes add colour and flavour to this breakfast favourite.
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 onion, chopped fine
2 tomatoes, chopped fine
1 tsp ginger, grated
2 green chillies, chopped fine
1 sprig of curry leaves
Salt to taste
1 cup of semolina
1 ½ cup boiled water
Heat oil in a kadai and temper mustard.
Sauté chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves in this.
Add semolina and boiled water to this and stir well.
When the semolina becomes dry scramble it to ensure that there are no lumps and serve.
