10 slices wheat bread, cut into small cubes
1 cup curd
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 dsp water
2 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 green chilli, chopped
A few curry leaves
1 tsp ginger, grated
¼ cup onions, chopped
¼ cup coriander leaves, chopped
Take a bowl and add the curd, turmeric powder, salt and water. Mix well and keep aside.
Add the bread pieces to this mixture and mix well.
In a non-stick pan, heat the oil and add the cumin seeds.
When the cumin seeds splutter, add the green chillies, ginger and curry leaves and sauté well.
Now add the onions and sauté very well.
When the onions brown, add the prepared bread mixture, and lower the flame.
Stir occasionally till the bread turns light brown.
Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.
