Spicy and tasty, the pepper fish masala is any sea food lovers delight
500 gm of any good quality fish
¼ cup of oil
1 tsp ginger, crushed
1 tsp garlic, crushed
2 large onions, chopped lengthwise
1 large tomato, chopped
4 green chillies, slit lengthwise
2tbsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 cup thick coconut milk
A few coriander leaves, chopped
Salt- to taste
Wash and clean the fish. Cut to round pieces and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a pan and saute the ginger, garlic, onion and salt.
Now add the black pepper powder, coriander powder and green chillies and saute further.
Pour two cups of water, add the fish and cook after covering the pan.
Uncover and if the fish is done, add the coconut milk and coriander leaves and bring to a boil stirring all the while.
