Coconut-dates bites

Craving for some mid-afternoon munchies yet worried about your diet? Here is a toothsome yet healthy snack recipe which you can make in a jiffy. It takes only a handful of ingredients which you can definitely find in your kitchen shelves. Get ready to mash and roll!

Ingredients

2 cups of dates, seeds removed

1 cup red rice flakes

1 cup grated coconut

4 tbsp chopped almonds

4 tbsp chopped cashew nuts

3 tbsp chopped raisins

Preparation

Mash the dates well without any lumps

Roast rice flakes until it becomes crispy

Crush it thoroughly

Add it into the mashed dates

Add grated coconut, chopped nuts and raisins to the mixture

Mix well with your hands and make a dough with it

Make different shaped pieces out of it

Serve along with fresh fruit slices
