A spicy beef roast for lovers of Malabar cuisine.
1 kg beef, sliced
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
1 tsp garam masala
½ cup coconut oil
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 ripe tomatoes, blended in a mixer
1 tbsp tomato sauce
Marinate beef with 1 tsp turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste and garam masala for half an hour and cook it.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté salt, turmeric, chilli and coriander powder in it.
Add the gravy from the cooked beef to this and sauté some more.
When oil separates, add the blended tomatoes and tomato sauce. Now add beef to this and let it simmer for a while. Remove from heat.
Garnish with curry leaves and egg slices.
