Rice cutlet

Throwing away and wasting good food is one of the worst sins, especially when you have this yummy alternative plan. Work magic and transform your leftover rice into to crunchy cutlets with by waving a wand. This easy snack can be made with whatever vegetables you have in kitchen. You can serve it with mint chutney, sauce or even a curd dip.

Ingredients

1 ½ cup cooked rice

1 potato chopped

1 carrot grated

1 bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)

4 tsp ginger garlic paste

½ tsp chili powder

½ tsp cumin seeds

2 tbsp oil

Salt as required

Preparation

Mix rice, potato, carrot, bell pepper and ginger garlic paste together

Mash them using a ladle

Take small balls of the mix and flatten it on a surface into cutlet shape

Heat oil in a pan

Flip them occasionally

Fry the cutlets till they turn golden brown

Shift them to a serving plate with paper towels

Serve with mint chutney
