For a state known for its seafood bounty, a perfect squid fry recipe is known the back of one's hand. Try this one, and be floored.

Ingredients

5 squids, cleaned and chopped in circles
1
tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tsp ginger, chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt, as required
3
tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
Rice flour, as
required
Coconut oil, to fry
Curry leaves, as required

Preparation

Keep the squid ready for cooking
Grind the ginger, garlic, lemon juice
and salt together. Now, mix this with red chilli powder and marinate the squid with this mixture
Cover this marinated squid in rice flour
In a pan, heat oil
Add the marinated squid
along with curry leaves to the pan
Fry well, and serve hot
