1 cup Semolina
¼ cup Sugar
½ cup Ghee
3 cups Water
1tsp Cardamom (powdered)
Cashew nuts and almonds (chopped)
Raisins, as required
Heat the ghee in a pan.
Roast the semolina in ghee over a slow flame for about 7 minutes and keep aside.
Prepare syrup of sugar, water and the cardamom powder and allow boiling. Once it boils, lower the flame and allow cooking for 2 minutes. Stir all the while.
To this add the roasted semolina and when it begins to cook, lower the flame and keep mixing at the rate of once a minute.
When there is no more water left, add the cashew nuts, almonds, and raisins and turn off the stove.
Serve with ice cream.
