200 gm apricots
60 gm sugar
300 ml water
2 drops of rose essence
Soak the apricots for 4 hours in hot water.
Separate the seed and mash the flesh of the fruit and keep aside.
Now break open the seed, take out the contents and keep aside.
Boil water and sugar to a syrup. Add the mashed apricots and cook till the mix turns thick.
When it cools, garnish with the seed content and serve with cream or vanilla ice cream.
