A potpourri of fresh and dried fruits topped with decadent custard.
5 tins of water
75 gm vanilla custard powder
1 tin condensed milk
1 ½ tbsp sugar
200 ml fresh cream
All kinds of fruits, both fresh and dried
Stir the custard powder in some water to give a smooth paste without any lumps. Add the remaining water and condensed milk.
Keep stirring this on low heat and thicken without bringing to boil.
Mix the fruits and fresh cream together. If you are using pineapple, stew it with 2 or 3 cloves and sugar. After stewing remove the cloves. If using dry fruit, stew it similarly. Add orange segments just before serving.
