Sandwich House

Hmmm ... now let’s use these cheese sticks to build a cute sandwich house, shall we? And enjoy hearing your friends praise your culinary skills!

Ingredients

10 slices of brown bread (spread butter on all the slices and keep them aside)
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 cup of minced chicken
½ cup capsicum, finely chopped
¼ cup onions, finely chopped
¼ cup cheese, grated
Salt to taste
Pepper powder
A stalk of celery, sliced thin
1 carrot
A few parsley leaves to garnish
20-30 cheese sticks

Preparation

Request your mother€™s help to prepare one cup of minced chicken like this. Boil the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Discard the bones and chop or mince the chicken into very small pieces.
Place the mayonnaise in a bowl and beat it well with a spoon.
Add the chicken, capsicum, onions, cheese, salt and pepper powder to this and blend it all together.
Now apply this mayonnaise mixture on each of the bread slices, on one side only.
Now stick two slices of bread together, such that the mayonnaise side is on the inside, for both the slices.
Now, take two sets of these sandwiches. Cut each sandwich into two triangular halves.
These will be big triangles.
Now, take another sandwich and cut it into four triangular pieces. These will be the small triangles.
It€™s now time to build the house. First place three sets of sandwiches, one on top of the other.
Now, as shown in the picture, arrange the big triangles to make the roof and the small triangles to make the walls.
Sprinkle the celery pieces to make the garden pathway.
Use the carrot to make the doors, windows, chimney and cute little flowers.
The parsley and the carrot flowers can be pasted on the walls using mayonnaise.
Paste the cheese sticks on the roof of your house, also using mayonnaise.
Your pretty house is now ready to be eaten!
