What's Diwali without kaju barfis? And no, it being heavenly doesn't say it's difficult to be made. In fact, it's one of the easiest recipes!
½ kilo cashew nuts
¼ kilo sugar
400 ml water
1 tsp cardamom powder
Grind the cashew nuts finely and keep aside
Make a thick syrup of the sugar and water
To this syrup, add the cashew powder and cardamom and cook on a low flame for about 20 minutes Transfer this thick mixture to a tray and when it cools, cut into desired shapes and serve
