Chocolate truffle is inexcusable for Valentines Day. The delicious cocoa flirting with the luscious cream sure sets up the mood for the evening!

Chocolate Truffles

200 ml cream

1 egg yolk beaten well

175 gm dark chocolate chopped finely

175 gm milk chocolate chopped finely

25 gm butter



For covering


Cocoa powder / chopped pistachios / almonds / white chocolate / dehydrated grated coconut for covering

Preparation

Heat the cream and remove from the fire

To this add the beaten egg yolk, the chopped chocolate till it melts completely and then add the butter Keep this mix aside to cool down

Once cooled, cover the bowl and refrigerate for 6€“8 hours

Place a butter paper on a tray and using an ice cream scoop, take small balls of the cooled chocolate mix and line on the paper

Take each of the balls, cover it in any of the mentioned garnishes and cool it in the fridge again till it sets. Take it out only when serving
