Black fowl, turmeric... no, we are not talking about black magic here. This novel recipe known as the kozhimarunnu helps to re rejuvenate the body, rev up resistance and effectively soothes down pain in the joints. Cook it up!

Ingredients

Six-month old karinkozhi (black fowl) cooked with turmeric powder and kurunthotti roots

Kozhimarunnu masala

1 onion, hopped

Garlic, chopped

Ghee

Gingelly oil

Preparation

Heat ghee and gingelly oil in a pan

Add onion and garlic

Saute till they turn crisp

Stir in the ground kozhimarunnu masala and mix well

Add the cooked chicken into this mixture

Saute again

Salt should not be added while preparing this dish

It can be served as a side dish alongside rice for dinner
