Method 1: Simple chocolate milk
This is the simplest method. It uses only 3 ingredients, all of which can can picked up right from your kitchen shelves.
Put together 1 cup milk, 2 tsp cocoa powder and 2 tsp vanilla sugar or castor sugar in a bottle with a lid
Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds
Chill, throw in a straw and slurp!
Method 2: Dark chocolate milk
In case you want to use chocolate chips instead of cocoa powder, go for this recipe, again with just 3 ingredients. Recommended for dark chocolate lovers.
In a saucepan, combine ¼ cup sugar, ½ cup semi sweet dark chocolate chips and ½ cup of milk
Place on low heat and whisk until fully combined
Pour 1 ½ cups of milk in a blender and pour in the chocolate syrup. Blend to combine Serve chilled
Method 3: Ice cream chocolate milk
For a thicker, yummier chocolate milk, blend together 4 scoops of vanilla/chocolate ice cream with ¼ cup chocolate syrup and ½ cup milk
Chill and serve
Adding more to it
Garnish with cinnamon or nutmeg powder for that extra punch
If you're easy on the carbs, slather a liberal amount of whipped cream over your chocolate milk
Going vegan? Use Almond milk, soy milk or even coconut milk in place of milk with vegan ice cream
