Cakes are the best way to impress a guest or show off your pastry skills. Mousse cakes and cheese cakes are the shortcut to it. There is no baking involved. No hardships and you can easily make them from scratch. This strawberry white chocolate mousse cake will give you a three layered delight both for your tummy and your eyes.

Ingredients

200 gm strawberry, chopped

200 g white chocolate

2 tbsp powdered biscuits

2 tbsp sugar

2 tsp gelatin

1 cup fresh cream

1 cup melted butter

1 cup whipping cream

2 tbsp egg white

1 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Boil strawberries and sugar together until cooked

Let it cool and then puree in a blender

Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes

Melt this gelatin

Mix it with strawberry puree and set aside

Step 2

Add melted butter and sugar to the powdered biscuits

Spread the biscuit base evenly in a springform pan

Make a the base firm and refrigerate it for a while

Step 3

Add fresh cream to the chopped chocolates

Boil water in a pan and place chocolate

Place the chocolate bowl above the boiling water to melt it using the double boiling technique

Be careful not to let the steam into the chocolates

Add gelatin to the melted chocolate

Add the melted chocolate to whipping cream

Beat the egg white and add it to the mousse using fold and cut method

Pour this mix on top of the refrigerated biscuit base

Refrigerate this for 20 minutes

Step 4

Pour strawberry puree into whipping cream and mix well

Add beaten egg white to this

Pour the strawberry mousse atop the refrigerated white chocolate base

The cake is ready now. Refrigerate it for four hours to become set

Garnish with strawberries and serve
