Onions and cheese are a fantastic combination and when baked with apples in butter and olive oil and topped with roasted garlic, you have a wow dish!
1 piece Brie cheese
6 pods garlic, chopped
A little olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 onions, cut to square pieces
1 apple, skinned and cut to square pieces
Pre heat oven to 2000C
Crush the garlic and spread out on baking sheet. Sprinkle some olive oil over this and roast for 15 minutes till it turns soft. Keep aside.
Melt the butter and cook with the onion and apple pieces till they turn brown. Keep aside.
Spread out the appleonion mix over a layer of brie cheese on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes till it turns golden brown.
Garnish with the roasted garlic.
